The new ‘South Island’ project from the iconic Waiheke Island producer, Man
o’ War. But this is more than just a side project to meet the demands of fashion.
Having purchased extensive vineyard area in both regions some years ago,
replanting and adjusting the farming style, these wines have just as much
integrity as the wines of their older sibling have always expressed.

Sauvignon is planted in the cool Southern Valleys sub region producing
a piercingly crisp and refreshing reference for this famous style. 

Pinot vineyards in the almost desert-like Bannockburn region in the heart of the great Central Otago subzone show an elegantly powerful expression of this celebrated terroir.
