Schloss Lieser was revived by Thomas and Ute Haag in the 1990s and has since become one of Germany’s leading Riesling estates. Spanning 26 hectares across nine Grand Cru vineyards, its steep slate soils and old vines produce wines known for elegance, mineral complexity, and great aging potential. Traditional methods, including hand-harvesting and spontaneous fermentation in a 100-year-old cellar, highlight the estate’s distinctive terroir.

Now ranked among Germany’s top wineries, Schloss Lieser has received consistent 5-star ratings and major awards, including “Winemaker of the Year” from Gault Millau (2015) and Falstaff (2021).
