Although 2019 was their first vintage under their own domaine, siblings Clément and Caroline Lavallée come from a long line of Chablis winemakers and grape growers. Clement’s formation as a winemaker saw him working at Château Margaux and Domaine Chapoutier, amongst others, in France, as well as a short stint in our very own Rutherglen.   

When he eventually returned to the family estate he decided he wanted to make wine differently, and so in 2018 purchsed a small vineyard in Chablis. He has since increased his surface to over 5 hectares across Chablis, St-Bris and Côtes d’Auxerre.

These are some of the most pure and thrilling white wines we’ve seen
and we are very excited to be able to bring a limited quantity to Australia.
